Many of us have dreamt of driving a racing car, but few ever will. Some of us have tried to capture the feeling by racing radio controlled cars; some of us tried to get the same feeling by racing on a slot car set – only to be disappointed. What if you could combine the realism of radio control cars and the compact scale of Slot cars – indoor/outdoor fun, excitement and competition: that is what Bonzer Racing is all about.

Bonzer Racing combines the existing technology of micro radio controlled cars (approximately 6 centimeters long), with the unique and patented Bonzer Mat flexible track system. Together, you get a racing play system that delivers realism, flexibility, portability and immediacy (it can be set up and put away in less than 10 minutes) … appealing to all ages and genuinely inclusive, encouraging parent and child interaction in a challenging play environment.

The track system consists of 24 foam tiles that snap together and flexible barrier that is secured to the track with simple clips.

The Bonzer Mat has been designed as a double-sided race track. Assemble the printed tiles in the correct order to create the competition track, this layout is designed to be challenging (not for beginners). Alternatively create your own track layouts from a simple oval for fast racing to complex technical tracks to really test your skill. As the barriers can be secured in almost any position on the mat the potential track designs are practically limitless.

Whilst the system was designed with racing in mind, because you are not stuck in slots you can play other games as well. Create mazes to challenge maneuvering skills, build a “pitch” with goals at each end and challenge your opponent to a game of Bonzer Ball (you supply the ball – either a ping pong ball or glass marble), and there is always the old favorite - Bonzer Tag (tick – your’ on) and chase each other around the track. The Bonzer Mat is a “play anywhere” system requiring no electricity supply. The cars and controllers are battery powered, with the car being charged up on the R/C controller. Take it to the park, on holiday or camping - keep the kids (and adults) quite for a while! Suitable for all ages - well almost. We have had great responses from the age of 3 to 93!.
